Packing, Shipping and Warehouse Support

Responsibilities

This part-time role involves inspecting, packing and shipping Paint Yours products. Each made-to-order kit has different contents, so you will use a dedicated inspection system to check and prepare every item individually.

Key responsibilities

Inspect and pack products
Check kit contents using our inspection system
Create shipping labels and arrange dispatch
Check and replenish supplies, and keep the workspace organized

Midwave operates Paint Yours, a service that turns treasured photos into one-of-a-kind painting kits. Our small team handles everything from planning and sales to customer support. We actively use AI and automation tools as we expand beyond Japan into overseas markets, with a focus on South Korea.

Requirements

Basic computer skills, including Google Sheets and Slack
A careful approach to work with an emphasis on accuracy
The ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations
The ability to communicate effectively with team members

Preferred skills and experience

Experience in packing, shipping or dispatch management in e-commerce or logistics
Experience managing on-site operations in a warehouse, store or similar environment
Experience managing part-time staff or shift schedules
Experience managing inventory and supplies, procurement and ordering
Experience improving workflows or creating operating manuals
Experience improving efficiency with spreadsheets and other tools
Business-level English

Employment terms

Employment type	Part-time; full-time employment can be discussed
Primary location	Warehouse: Petit Maison Hiroo 1F, 5-10-11 Hiroo, Shibuya, Tokyo A 4-minute walk from Hiroo Station
Working hours	From 3 days per week and 4 hours per day, on a shift basis
Compensation	JPY 1,300–1,800 per hour
Salary reviews and bonuses	Available, depending on business performance and individual evaluation
Days off and leave	Based on the shift schedule
Probation period	3 months Employment terms and benefits remain unchanged during the probation period.
